Rotation and Stretching

  1. Remember every action creates tension. In most of the cases, this tension is stored on the body in the places that lock up. This is why most people have stiff points (joints) on the body. This tension must be redirected through proper angles and aiming to the right place: to be connected to another part of the body, or to be directed to the opponent.
  2. This effort is done through actions such as rotation to change angle and stretching to open.
  3. Rotation does not change physical space but only angle.
  4. Stretching increases physical space but does not change angle.
