Forward led by front kua, powered by rear foot
When initiating a forward movement:
- first you must start with your lower body, not upper body.
- the lower body is led by the front kua, not front foot. This frees the front foot. It does not carry power or strength.
- the power comes from the rear foot, not front foot.
- connection from rear foot to front kua must be established.
- the body appears to be a bit leaning backward.
